“James Jean will soon launch a major presentation at the LOTTE Museum in Seoul, South Korea. Titled “Eternal Journey,” the prolific artist will showcase a collection of over 500 of his works spanning large-scale paintings, sculptures, video art, and installations.
Ahead of the show’s April opening, Jean recently took to Instagram to unveil a new series of light sculptures made using stained glass materials. His signature, mythical subjects are embellished on several panels of the life-sized works. When a light source placed inside the structure is turned on, the ethereal visuals on the exterior become illuminated — creating a unique viewing experience.”
