“The sanctuary took another step toward completion this week when the second third of a huge stained glass window on the northwest side of the building was installed. Perhaps the most dramatic feature of the sanctuary, the 93-foot-wide by 35-foot-tall expanse of stained glass will be protected from the elements by a glass curtain wall but will be visible at night from miles away.
Dick Cooper, the church’s director of facilities and construction, said the so-called Resurrection Window will serve as the eighth exterior panel rising above the sanctuary’s 35-foot Kansas limestone base.”
